Alliance Title Spotlight – Miraiah Acosta
This Alliance Title spotlight is all about Miraiah Acosta! Miraiah works as an Escrow Officer in our Nampa, ID, branch and has been with us for nine years.
Even after all this time, there’s still something special about a successful Closing Day to her. “My favorite part of being an escrow officer is getting to sit at the closing table and connect with the people I’ve been working with,” Miraiah says. “After weeks or sometimes months of e-mails and phone calls with agents, lenders, buyers and sellers, it’s such a joy to finally meet face-to-face and share in such an exciting milestone.”
Before coming to real estate, Miraiah spent her career in the classroom. This included time as a behavior interventionist, working with students ranging from elementary through high school. During that stint, she gave extra support to those students who needed it and took immense pride in their success.
Miraiah says that’s the same approach she takes when handling a transaction, especially if the process gets complicated. “I carry that same patience and commitment to helping others into my work as an escrow officer today,” she says.
Outside of the Alliance Title office, Miraiah serves as an ambassador for the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. When it comes to hobbies and interests, Miraiah enjoys spending time with her large family, cooking, going to car shows and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.
As a family-centered person, Miraiah’s pick when asked who she admires most isn’t a surprise. She chooses to honor both parents with her answer. “My mom because no matter what challenges she faces, she chooses to stay positive, lean on God and meet life with a smile,” Miraiah says. “My dad because he modeled patience, compassion and a calm presence. They also taught me to work hard and to give without ever expecting anything in return.
