This Alliance Title spotlight focuses on one of our newer associates! Katie Ford started as an Escrow Officer in our Meridian, ID branch earlier this year. However, she may be a familiar face to many of you since she has more than two decades of real estate experience and is active in multiple organizations in the community, including the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals and the Women’s Council of REALTORS ® Boise Metro.

Katie enjoys the collaborative spirit of a transaction. “I love banding together with my teammates and trusted client professionals to achieve success together,” she says. “We are all in this business together, and when we are all hands on deck, an amazing experience happens for everyone that can be memorable!”

Katie calls music her “jam.” She loves to sing and played clarinet when she was in school. Another fun fact about Katie is that she’s a weightlifter who has done both a 300-pound deadlift and a 300-pound squat. “I can build muscle strength quickly,” Katie says.

Outside of work, Katie’s hobbies include doing anything outdoors, especially stand-up paddleboarding, whitewater rafting, camping and fishing. She also enjoys spending time with her significant other, five nieces and nephews and two “feline fur babes” named Stewie and Lulu.

When asked who she admires most, Katie names famed author and researcher, Brene Brown, for her dedication to getting to know people through qualitative research and connecting with her fellow humans. “I admire those who can be their authentic and real selves. Why? Because I am truly fascinated by the unique qualities of others,” Katie says.
